Entrelac bag out of sock yarn

Once upon a time I bought one skein Scheepjes invicta colour . And like with so many single skeins, for a long time I did’t know what to do with it. After many hours searching on Ravelry and after making my first entrelac bag I decided to use this sockyarn to make this entrelac handbag. Due to the colorchanging it’s quite addictive knitting. I just wanted to see the next color, and the next one..ooh one more change before bedtime 😀 From cast on to finished object in 23 days. Less if I didn’t had to wait a weekend for the handles. Unfortunately the ones in my stash didn’t match the bag. Speaking of stash. Besides the sockyarn I used 70 grams of deep stash yarn to knit the lining. The handles and magnetic closure where ordered from www.hoooked.nl.

On the side a picture of the back of the bag. Although knitted in the round it’s not really knitted in the round. The colors change as though knitted flat. With a ton-sur-ton colorchange this “line” won’t be as visible. This bag has a clear warm and cool color side.
